Industrial Data Xchange (IDX) is a proudly South African industrial IT company providing professional, technical and consulting services.
IDX is able to provide hardware and software solutions around fieldbus interoperability and data exchange, industrial communication (data transfer) to and from process control devices, SCADA and DCS systems, data exchange of process / production information from the plant floor to business and expert systems, and custom development of real-time, mission critical systems such as automatic fault mitigation and control system monitoring.
IDX specializes in industrial communications, PROFIBUS, OPC, disparate & legacy system integration and custom development of robust real-time solutions.
In addition, IDXOnline operates the PROFIBUS Competence Centre of Southern Africa, providing vendor-neutral PROFIBUS services and certified training, and also distributes PROFIBUS test tools and analysis equipment.
