Remex was established in 2006 as a company to supply our Holding company in Malaysia with Transformer Oil Regeneration and Purification Plants .Towards the end of 2007 GE Energy decided to seize their operations in South Africa Remex bought the Intellectual property for all the Plants built in the last 25 years and also took over the key technical staff. Fluidex was the founding company in South Africa and were the first to build Plants using the technology we are currently using, Fluidex was bought over by SD Meyers in the USA and SD Meyers was bought over by GE Energy . Fluidex is a well known brand name world wide.
Remex now manufactures Plants to cater for all markets world wide, we service the Plants previously manufactured by Fluidex and GE Energy and has exported more than 25 Plants since February 2008, manufactured another 10 for the local market and serviced various Plants locally and overseas as well as exporting the spares required to operate the Plants
