Telecommunications Industry
The Communication Solutions business offers professional services and solutions in the broadband wireless and unified communications arenas. Wireless includes backhaul and access technologies such as WiMAX and LTE. We offer full turnkey implementation namely: network architecture design, RF planning, implementation, maintenance and support of key technologies (including mobile/fixed WiMAX, high capacity microwave links, IP PABX and unified communications).

Defence Industry
The Defence Division has a proven track record in supplying and supporting advanced radar, navigation, identification (IFF) and tactical communication products and solutions for defence and civilian system integrators, platform suppliers and end-users.

Manufacturing Industry
Electronic Manufacturing provides full-turnkey contract manufacturing services to its customers. We offer a full suite of design, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, logistics and post-manufacturing services to a wide range of internal and external customers in the electronics industry.

Tellumat Defence has more than earned its stripes in the supply and support of advanced radar, navigational,  combat identification friend-or-foe (IFF), Unmanned aircraft system (UAS) tactical communication and flight stabilisation systems.

With offices close to our local customers in the Northern and Southern regions of South Africa, we are able to provide top quality manufacturing, support and maintenance services.  For international clients, this is achieved through value-adding partnerships, taking the form of strategic mutually-beneficial business relationships.

Tellumat Manufacturing has two electronics assembly and manufacturing facilities uniquely structured and equipped to provide from “labour only” to a true full turnkey solution. Our expertise centres on complete system solutions for all levels of complexity including prototyping, quick turn-around and both low and high volume production for a range of markets including telecommunications, military, aerospace, metering, security, industrial, audiovisual and medical.

Tellumat's electronics assembly and manufacturing facilities offer end-to-end operational services. These manufacturing solutions can dramatically improve time-to-market factors, lower total cost, improve asset utilisation and, ultimately, market share and margins.

Tellumat Electronic Manufacturing offers a full suite of design, engineering, manufacturing, logistics and post manufacturing services.

Core manufacturing processes are: Surface Mount Assembly, Component Insertion, Wave Solder, both In-Circuit and Functional Testing, System Integration and Configuration and Mechanical Assembly.

Our materials procurement department ensures that our customers benefit from preferential pricing through our mature supplier relationships (in both the local and international supply-chain) and our significant buying power and consolidation of purchases.

Tellumat Contract Manufacturing compiles information, building it into a well structured bill of materials using SAP R/3.

All processes are managed in accordance with the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system.
